THE ROLE OF INTUITION IN THE BOARDROOM [by Cheryl Hayman]

There is much discussion about the role of boards today. What are the makeup and skills required for a relevant and highly effective board?

IPO Network | Invitation - Virtual event "Is diversity a driver of innovation and higher performance or a compliance measure?”

The IPO Network and Women on Boards is pleased to present this virtual event

In early 2020, the investment bank Goldman Sachs announced it will only take companies public if they have atleast one “diverse” board member, with a focus on women. In 2021 the bank will raise the threshold to two diverse directors, which includes diversity based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Across the globe, companies are taking advantage of diversity as a means of unlocking innovation and driving market growth.

Leaders and executives are both embodying and embracing the power of difference. Join Cheryl Hayman, ASX Director and former FMCG Marketing Executive; and Nicholas Barnett, Executive Chair of Integrated Experience Management, research and consulting company Insync; and Michele Phillips, Managing Partner of executive search firm 100 Percent Partners as they discuss whether the effort to bediverse is worth it, what are the real dividends from diversity, and how risky is it to not embrace diversity inyour company in 2021?
